DPH believes that its business is highly dependent on its clients business. Therefore the business growth of our clients is critical to our business growth. This philosophy is aptly addressed in our company slogan “ We care for your business ”. Since 1983 we have been innovating services to meet the needs of our clients. In CEBIT 2009 we are formally launching the Business Support Services for our clients.

Background

With the Globalization of the economy there is a strong need for business to expand their operations using various enabling tools, processes methods and resources. Expansion by traditional methods requires offices, production centers to be setup globally and is not an easy task for even the most resourceful companies.

As a first approach most the SME businesses outsourced their labor-intensive work to companies operating in low cost regions like DPH. This helped by cutting costs. Some businesses used these services to expand the range of services within their operational region. The smart businesses today are expanding their business using low cost production centers, virtual offices and Internet marketing. Virtual offices in order to be really effective need to do much more than offer a physical address and a telephone answering service. Since these virtual offices operate in high cost regions adding additional resources is prohibitively expensive.

Client Needs

Many of our clients expressed a need for more than just the traditional data processing services being offered by us such as architectural designs, drafting, web site designing, software maintenance, software testing, software development etc. These services were beyond the domain of our traditional data processing services. To cater to these requests we now offer our clients a wider range of services using our Business Support Services. At the lowest end BSS functions like a virtual office and on the other extreme it can work like one of the main offices over a period of time.

The Solution

To give the local feel and support it would be a nice idea to have Virtual offices in high cost areas coupled with BSS offices in low cost regions servicing them and other offices. The idea behind this is to take advantage of the globally available resources to deliver products and services. With our offices spread over India , we are in a position to offer high quality resources from India to our clients. We call the business model that allows for seamless delivery of these services BSS.

BSS Model

The most commonly used model allows our clients to setup their offices in our premises. We allow businesses to perform business functions that were traditionally done "in-house" to be executed by your offices located in our premises. These offices are equipped as per your specific needs and are managed by us. High-speed networks, collaborative applications, Internet telephony enable these services efficiently. The HR department ensures proper recruitment, training and monitoring functions. The Administration takes care of the Infrastructure and facilities. System Admin administers servers, Firewalls, networking and other hardware functionalities. Our Legal department ensures that we comply with national and international laws. Our purchase department ensures proper purchase of services, equipments and consumables for the client.
